Gespickte Geburtstagsparty | Spiked birthday party ~ Whimsy Stamps Treasures

Good evening everybody

Wer sagt, dass man Weihnachtsstempel nur für Weihnachten brauchen kann? So ging es mir mit dem süssen Stempel Merry Cactus, der geht doch auch ohne Stern dafür mit einem Party Hut oder?

Who says you can only use Christmas stamps for Christmas? That's how it felt for me with the sweet Merry Cactus stamp, but it also works without a star with a party hat, doesn't it?

Aus dieser Idee ist dann zusammen mit den Kakteen aus dem Set Succ It Up eine supercoole Geburtstagsparty entstanden. Zum Einsatz kam diesmal natürlich Maskierpapier, damit die Pflanzen zusammen gestempelt werden konnten. Denkt dabei immer daran, von vorne nach hinten zu arbeiten. D.h. zuerst kommt der Stempel, der im Vordergrund sein soll, dann Abdecken und die nächste Ebene stempeln. Anschliessend wurde alles koloriert und auf einen mit dem Chevron Background gestalteten Hintergrund geklebt.

This idea, together with the cacti from the Succ It Up set, turned into a super cool birthday party. Masking paper was of course used this time so that the plants could be stamped together. Always remember to work from front to back. I.e. first comes the stamp that should be in the foreground, then cover and stamp the next layer. Then everything was coloured and glued onto a background designed with the Chevron Background.
