Hochzeit in gold / Wedding in gold

Hallo Zusammen
Hi all together

Now that I have crafted quite a lot of flower plugs, it's time for a new card. This one I designed for the current issue of Challenge Week 75 - Color "Gold" at Less is More. I also included the new homework at MCC and that's the result:
Stempel/Stamps: Hot Off the Press - Stamp & Punch
Stanzen/Dies: Spellbinder - Labels One Small (S4-308)
Prägen/Embossing: Cart-Us - Ornament Hearts (8013)
Deko/Material: Organzaribbon, Embossingpowder gold, golden Rings, 3D-Distancepads

Here you can see quite well that the background is dry embossed. Actually, I wanted to do so only with gold ink, but the result was not that great (pad to dry?). Therefore, I decided very quickly, the whole powder the whole thing with golden embossing powder and I think the effect is really great.

This is basically a technique with embossingfolders, which you might forget again. But you can make really great backgrounds and this everytime in matching colour for the card. All you need is an embossingfolder, a Brayer and ink pad (make sure that they are soluble in water, otherwise you will not get clean anymore the stencil). Then ink the embossingfolder on the desired side with the Brayer (works really better than just directly with an ink pad) and then, as normal, all through the embossing machine.

I hope you like the card, I am already looking forward to your visit and nice comments.

Liebe Grüsse
Best wishes

Claudia
